The Muskingum Valley Park Society is a 501(c)3 charitable organization established to assist the Muskingum Valley Park District (MVPD) fulfill its mission to enrich the quality of life of Muskingum County residents by conserving natural areas, providing passive and active recreational opportunities, and developing an appreciation of the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the area.
As a Park Society member, you provide an important public service: You educate and engage park visitors in the protection and stewardship of the natural and cultural heritage of Zanesville and the Muskingum Valley. More important, you share your passion for nature with future generations.
Membership opportunities are as varied as the parks themselves. All you need to become a member is enthusiasm for our natural or cultural history, a willingness to learn and a desire to share with others. Your time commitment depends on you and your assignment Many volunteer opportunities are flexible enough to fit your schedule. Whether it's for a year, a month, a week or even a few hours, there's a place for you as a Park Society member!

Become a shareholder in the Muskingum Valley Park Society! Join the "One hundred for $100.00 Club" and help guide future programs and initiatives supported by the Society. Upon reaching our 100-member goal, we will convene a meeting of shareholders to choose a special project or purpose for this donor restricted fund. Fund dividends will pay out through the smiling faces of Muskingum Valley Park District visitors.
