The property was bequeathed to the Muskingum Valley Park District by Miss Bernice Delong for the establishment of Meadow Springs Farm “. . . as an agricultural, conservation, and environmental education farm” and as “a perpetual facility for teaching conservation and sound farming practices”.
The farm is a mix of cropland, pastureland, and forest lands. The farm also includes two houses and multiple farm buildings. Owl Creek Conservancy holds a conservation easement on the property.
